Cookeville author’s new juvenile fiction assures kids of Jesus’ presence

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — This week marks the nationwide release of “Huggin’ Jesus,” a wonderful new children’s book by author Menetta Olan.

“Huggin’ Jesus” is for the young kids who face a tough day. These children may have woken up, dreading to go to school. They may have gotten picked on by a playmate. This book lets young readers know that even though they may seem alone, Jesus is always there to embrace them and make them feel better. Better equip young children spiritually while enjoying a delightful story in “Huggin’ Jesus.”

This is Olan’s second children’s book. She uses her small-town Bible-belt upbringing to help generate an awareness of God’s love and how his love is the answer to all problems. Olan was born in Oklahoma and is now living with her husband and two children in Tennessee.
